Kind Words
"We contracted Melissa to design the logo, branding and overall marketing for our festival; The PAR-teee. It is important for us to support independent small businesses in Cornwall. From the outset Melissa understood the particular needs of the project, was open and easy to work with and collaborative with our team. Melissa was efficient in producing a range of options, and then quickly refining and expanding on the one we selected - her ability to listen to & interpret a client’s needs is excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, and look forward to working with her again in the future."
“Melissa is a very talented designer, she quickly sketches up ideas, each with a story behind them and thorough research. She has been very professional to work with and turns around work in the allotted deadlines for clients. I will definitely be working with Melissa again!”
“Melissa went above and beyond to create social media content for us which really encapsulated what we were looking for. She fully understood our brand identity and created authentic content, which allowed us to stand-out in a cluttered snacking environment. The whole creative process ran smoothly and it felt as though she was fully integrated into our team across all stages. We look forward to continuing to work with her in the future.”
“Melissa's work and professionalism speak volumes. Constructing a brand (e.g. logos...) & identity (tone, typography...) that made our company's core values shine. She generated ideas above and beyond the key themes of our brief, one of which became our logo. Prompt and professional throughout, Melissa met time-frames and budget - even when she extended the scope of work. Extensions and deliverables were well justified (e.g why specific typography was used.)”
“Melissa was a star to work with. She interpreted what I wanted to perfection! She delivered above and beyond on our first project, so now I keep going back to her as I know I am in safe hands. Thanks so much Melissa.”

What do I do when i'm not designing?
made in cornwall
I firmly believe that we are more than just our jobs. So I thought I would give you a run down of my other interests and hobbies.
- I run a Cornish lifestyle and travel blog as I am always out on the weekends discovering new places Cornwall has to offer. I’ve also worked with some pretty cool brands including: Penguin Random House, Lighthouse Clothing and Weird Fish.
- Because I live in Cornwall that basically means that I am a fish. I do a lot of water sports from; kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing and body boarding.
- I like to do print making in my spare time, making sure that I at least make one homemade Christmas card every year. I do pop some of my creations up on Etsy.
- I also love to travel and hope to get back to that at some point!
