Gift ideas for small business owners and entrepreneurs this Christmas
This Christmas gift guide is full of helpful and practical present ideas to give to your girl boss friends, hard working parents or your industrious partner that I’m sure they’ll love.
I believe in only purchasing gifts that you know that that person is going to truly love receiving or is going to get so much use out of, no last minute panic buying over here… This is why I have put this gift guide together early to give you enough time to think about and weigh up your options, a lot of these gift ideas should be on sale this Black Friday but don’t let that pressure you.
Tech gift ideas (main presents)
Every business owner should be armed and ready with the correct tech. For years I refused to buy into the mac/apple hype but as my work load got bigger, so did the demands on my computer. Having an old and slow laptop (or any tech gadget for that matter) meant that I couldn’t work as efficiently which lead to stress and dissatisfaction in my job.
MACBOOK PRO
The Macbook Pro*, the creme de la creme of laptops. Apple have just released the new Macbook Pro 2021 which looks insane, I definitely will be trading in my 2015 Macbook Pro for one of these in the new year.
This present idea is obviously a very special gift for a very special person with the price tag being that eye watering. However, I can assure you that if someone was to open this up on Christmas day I think they would scream with excitement.
CAMERAS
You don’t need to be a photographer to invest in a camera. A good quality camera can elevate anybody’s business. We’re living in an ever growing digital world where content is king and showcasing your products or services in a professional manner can make all the difference.
Tech gift ideas (Main presents)
I highly recommend the Cannon G7X* as they’re small, portable and easy to use camera’s that give you great picture and video quality.
Alternatively you can look at investing in a DSLR, a few I would recommend is the Nikon D7500* and Canon EOS 6d mark II*Â
If investing in a camera doesn’t sound like something that is worth the price point, the good ‘ol iPhone* does spectacularly well in comparison. It also obviously can do a lot more than just its function as a camera.
Tech gift ideas (Stocking fillers)
If those prices are just way out of your budget a few tech stocking fillers sized items can also make a huge impact to a small business.
Photography equipment
As a small business owner if you want to take amazing photos of your products having the right equipment can easily level up the quality of your images.
I would highly recommend purchasing or gifting someone some studio lights, I actually bought the Raleno* soft boxes for myself on black Friday last year. A backdrop* is also a really useful piece of equipment to get everything looking professional as well as a reflector* and a tripod*. Even something as simple as a SD card* can bring joy.
Teach accessories
When you’re a small business owner having a portable battery charger* is essential when you’re on the go. Also having charging leads* dotted around the house and one for your work bag in a variety of lengths can make life run a little bit smoother.
Some stocking filler computer accessories which can make a business owners life so much easier and pleasant are: an apple magic mouse*, apple magic trackpad*, headphones*, card payment reader*, laptop case*, Wacom tablet* and speaker*

Some ideas: Photos that changed the world*, Accidentally Wes Anderson*, Dior Catwalk*, A smile in the mind*, Architectural Digest*, Henri Matisse: The cut outs*.
